Cibola County Beacon – Former workers meet with federal caseworkers

 

GRANTS – Only one third of the uranium workers who could be applying for compensation under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program and Part E of that program have done so. That is according to representatives of the Department of Justice and the Department of Labor.

More than 300 people attended a meeting last Thursday at the Inn Best Western to hear about possible benefits for former workers and their survivors.
